Meet Jack (2)!

Jack (2)

Jack is a 7-month-old male Great Dane. Jack is lovebug with the sweetest disposition. Jack was surrendered as a puppy because of family circumstances. After being purchased from a breeder, Jack lived with very young children (about five months) and continues to react well with people of all ages. Jack also gets along with other dogs, and because of his very calm temperament, he may do well with cats. He has learned several basic commands: sit, wait for food, and how to walk on a leash.

He is food-motivated, so more training should not be a problem. Since he is so good-natured and he is easily redirected. For example, when given a toy to re-direct him off the sofa, he quickly complies.

Jack will do best in a family with other pets and children. He is an active puppy and likes to be engaged with toys that hold treats, chew toys, and sturdy stuffed toys. Jack is crate-trained and uses a dog door. So, if you are looking for a constant companion, Jack is your guy. To be honest, he is about as perfect as a 7-month-old puppy can be, and we have no doubt he will grow to be a wonderful dog.

Jack is being fostered in Raleigh NC. A fenced yard and previous giant breed experience is required. If interested please email us at info@greatdanefriends.com
