Meet Lola!

Hi, my name is Lola, and what a sweetheart I am! I am an older lady about 6-7 yrs old but I have lots of spunk left in me! I was dropped off at a local shelter as a “stray” but not really sure if that’s true or not, so we know nothing about my past.

I am the sweetest of girls and I love everyone that I meet. I’m great on a leash and very low energy but still get the occasional zoomies when my people get home from work! I am as good as gold in the house (even alone and uncrated) and truthfully…I don’t like the crate at all. I love to snuggle and nuzzle, especially after I’ve just had a big drink of water. I love toys, especially soft plush toys. I like to carry them around and suck on them as I fall asleep. I don’t counter surf or get into anything I’m not supposed to.

I have been friendly with other dogs I’ve met on walks, but I’m not a fan of high-energy dogs in my home and have been great as the only fur baby in my foster home. If I were to live with another dog, an older calm laid-back one like myself would be preferred. I haven’t been around cats much so I’m unsure how I’ll feel about that. I am recently spayed and currently heartworm positive but I have started treatment for that! We don’t know how I am with kids because my foster doesn’t have any but I seem to be fine encountering the on walks…just not sure about living with them.

Overall I am the bestest of senior ladies you can find. Just looking for someone to give me my forever home and love me forever!

Lola is being fostered in Conway SC.
