Meet Inky!

Inky

Please allow me to introduce myself… My name is Inky.

I am an approximately 4-month-old pup that was found as a stray and was in a shelter for a few days until GDFRL sprung me out and took me in. I am grateful to be off the streets and in a warm and loving home with my foster parents! Since my arrival I am learning to do my business outside and have become comfortable with my crate. When I’m ready to spend time in my crate, I walk right in and sit down and wait for my treat. I have also learned to sit since food and love often follows!

I love my new sweater that keeps me warm and all my new toys to play with and exercise my mind. I have tons of energy and love to run around with my new ball and Kong. I’m still learning to choose to use my mouth for good but I mean well and just want to play. I feel so much better with a family — my appetite is back!

My foster home has two cats, whom I love very much, but I’m learning now to not invade their personal space too quickly. I am curious towards them, but never aggressive. I’m still learning to walk on a leash, but I have zoomies in the back yard down pat.

I really enjoy being around people, and my foster family tells me I’m a true Velcro Dane. I would love to find a family that has another dog, so I have a companion to play with and to learn from. I have all the potential to become an amazing member of the right family that can help me learn and I promise to look adorable with my puppy eyes while that happens. Are you that family?
