Phoebe is a very sweet and happy eight year old Dane. She is such a petite female, weighing in at just 80 pounds! Don’t let her age fool you, though, because she acts more like a 3 year old than an 8 year old. She is always happy to see her family and her tail is always wagging!
Phoebe knows basic commands (sit, down and stay) and is currently enrolled in obedience training with the K9 Coach. Phoebe is housebroken and will stand by the door when she needs to out. She will quickly go out to go potty and come back in for loving. Phoebe is very good in the crate. Very quiet and patient waiting for you to let her out when it is time. She eats in her crate (due to 3 other dogs in her house) and is very food motivated. She is doing well with the other dogs in her foster family’s home. She now plays and tries to keep up with her greyhound housemates. Phoebe is crated during the day (not for behavior problems but because there are other dogs in the house). At night she will either sleep in her crate or on a dog bed next to our bed. Phoebe has not attempted to get on any furniture and is happy to snuggle by your feet. She can curl up in the smallest places and is happy as long as she is near her people.
She’s even great with kids and cats!
Phoebe is just looking for a family of her own to love on her!
